The Challenge

A UK top-50 commercial law firm with 1,800 lawyers, 4,200 active contracts under management (for commercial clients), and an estimated £3.2M annual cost of contract administration (drafting, negotiation tracking, obligation monitoring, and renewal management) needed a digital Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform. SRA Code of Conduct (contract confidentiality), Legal Professional Privilege, UK GDPR for contract counterparty data, WCAG 2.1 AA, and Legal Information Foundation UK Contracts Register requirements were mandatory.
