The Challenge

A UK recruitment technology startup needed to build a B2B SaaS platform for independent recruitment agencies — providing applicant tracking, client management, placement management, and commission calculation. The market was dominated by legacy desktop software (Bond Adapt, Bullhorn) with annual licences of £3,000–£12,000 per user. The founder had identified an opportunity to build a modern, web-based ATS at £80–£150/user/month. Pre-seed budget: £120,000 for MVP.

Recruitment agencies use Outlook and Teams heavily.
